Our friendly team welcome you aboard our helicopters for an unforgettable experience flying of the stunning glacier landscape from Franz Josef including two snow landings.

We are a family owned and operated company who are passionate about what we do and we look forward to showing you the glaciers, rainforests and mountains that form our incredible back yard.

The Mount Cook Supreme Flight includes views of the Franz Josef, Fox, Tasman and Shackleton Glaciers. You’ll fly into the Southern Alps, seeing the Main Divide, Mount Cook and Mount Tasman and the 60minute experience includes two snow landings.

You’ll be flying in one of our two great types of machines either an AS350 B2 Squirrel or MD520 Notar, we take off from our private helipad and you are in capable hand with our experienced pilots (often with Gus or Poppy our owner operators). Get up close with the local glaciers and be amazed at the size of them and their crevasses before your snow landing with plenty of time for photos, snowballs and to admire the views.

Notes

  • Please Note: Do you have limited mobility e.g. injury, arthritis or recent surgery? There are two high ladder style steps into the helicopter. This information could affect what helicopter we fly you in. Please let us know as you proceed through checkout.

    Flights require a minimum of 4pax to depart. Solo travelers and smaller bookings are welcomed and we will aim to pair you up with another booking.

    Our helicopters hold a maximum of 6 passengers (including infants) if your group is bigger than this please note you will be separated into different machines.

    Flights, routes and departure times are all subject to change due to weather conditions.

    In the summer season there may not be fresh snow on the landing site. We will always do our best to get you snow photos but conditions are different each summer.

    We ask that no-one with cold or flu symptoms fly with us for safety reasons.

  • Bad weather refunds:If your experience is cancelled by the operator (due to weather) you will be entitled to a full refund. Your booking is only valid for the time & route you have booked. If the flight time or route you booked is unable to go ahead your booking will not be able to be rescheduled or transferred to an alternative route or flight time.

    Cancellation policy:All bookings are non-transferable and cancellations must be made 24hours in advance or 100% cancellation fee will apply.
