Departing from Bayfair in Mount Maunganui we set off on an Arts and History day trip to Katikati.

After a scenic drive past Tauranga Harbour, we arrive at the Te Puna Quarry Park, this old quarry has been transformed into a beautiful park. Take some time to stroll around the stunning gardens, sculptures and ponds.

Our next stop is at "New Zealand's Mural Town", Katikati, here we will visit the museum which is filled of local history. Visit one of the many cafes in town to enjoy some lunch (at own cost). We will take you on a guided tour of the Mural Walk which has the theme of "The History of Settlement" before you enjoy a 40-minute stroll through Haiku Park where you will discover Haiku poems carved into boulders and pavements.

Your journey concludes at Bayfair in Mount Maunganui around 4pm where you are given a $10 voucher each to be used that day at Izakai Bar & Eatery.
