A great Kiwi experience

Well worth a visit. Suggest you take the talk in the kiwi enclosure with the guide. A most enjoyable experience

Very educative and interactive

Having been in NZ for 20 years, this was the first time I got to see a real running kiwi in a park, 3 at once! We got to see the kiwi birds while listening to the keeper for lots of fun facts. So don't miss the kiwi encounter if you ever come to the park. There were quite a few other animals in the park, and the information given for each species was fun to read. And some of them were next to you, such as the Kereru and Kea. The conservation show was very interesting and very educative. Enjoyed that a lot. I went there alone for 2 hours but would have stayed longer if my whole family had been with me. Good for kids!

See a Kiwi in a natural setting

I was expecting we may not see anything but was so excited to see 3 mature kiwis and was amazed at their size. The other native birds and lizards were also worth the visit

Disappointed

Very glad we paid the after 3pm price as not much to see for full price. Not very well signed. But we did see the kiwis so that was a bonus

Do not go

Small and shabby environment for the birds. It’s depressing to see how sad the birds are. Severely overpriced too.
