저렴하게 잘 다녀왔어요
저렴하게 잘 다녀온거 같아요.북섬에서 남섬올때 페리를 타고 와서 그런지 저한테는 비슷한거 같았구요. 아이들은 너무 좋아했어요.큰폭포에 가까이가서 물맞는게 제일 재미있었어요. 폭포가까이 간다고 안내방송을 좀 더 크게 해줬으면 좋았겠다 싶어요. 안에서파는 커피나 케익도 동네 카페와 가격이 비슷해서 좋았구요.북미 이용해서 저렴한게 다녀오시는게 젤 좋은것같아요.

5번이상 갔었고 항상 좋은 반응의 관광지 말이 필요없고 남섬에서 꼭 가봐야할 곳중 하나입니다

비오는 날은 피하는게 좋을거 같기도...
밀포드사운드 크루즈를 타러 가는날 강풍주의보에 호우주의보가 내렸습니다. 가는길에 미러레이크나 여러 룩아웃들이 호우와 안개에 가려서 안보이더군요. 하지만 Hundred Falls 같은 곳에서는 정말 폭포가 백개가 넘을거 같은 장관을 보여줬습니다. 그런데 밀포드사운드 도착 부터는 지옥이더군요. 강풍과 쏟아지는 비에 신발을 신을 수 없어서 아쿠아슈즈 가져갔던걸 꺼내고 모자쓰고 바람막이에 우의를 입었지만 바지랑 바람막이가 다 젖었습니다. 터미널에 가니 제가 예약한 배는 강풍에 호우로 위험하다고 취소되었고, 1시간 뒤 배는 안전하다고 변경해준다고 하더군요. 1시간을 기다려서 배를 탔는데 강풍에 파도가 심해서 와이프와 아들은 멀미를 했고, 배안에서는 쏟아지는 비바람에 밖이 제대로 보이지 않았습니다. 배 상층의 외부로 나와야 그나마 주변을 볼 수 있었지만 비바람이 심해서 모자는 바다로 날아가서 잃어버리고 우의는 입으나 마다 옷이 다 젖어버리더군요;; 그냥 제가 예약한 배가 취소 됐을때 그냥 취소하고 돌아올걸 잘못했다는 생각이 많이 들었습니다. 주변 경치도 거의 못봤고, 돌고래나 다른 어떤것도 보지 못하고 비바람과 폭포만 보고 왔습니다. 비속에서 비 맞으면서도 즐길 수 있는 분들만 비올때 크루즈 타시는걸 추천합니다.

최고의 경험
9월초 남섬 렌트 여행중 가장 기대가 많았던 밀포드 사운드 크루즈 투어였습니다. 업체는 여러 크루즈 회사가 많았지만 가격도 합리적이고 꼭 필요한 크루즈 투어만 진행하는 상품을 골라 전날 예약했습니다. 비수기에 프로모션중이었지만 임박해서 핫딜까지 해서 평수기 1인 가격으로 2명이투어를 즐겼습니다. 테아나우에서 1박하고 이른 아침에 출발했는데 가는길에 거울호수와 관광지 들러 여유를 즐기며 밀포드로 갔는데 날씨운이 따라서 아주 청명한 날씨에 피오로드의 장관과 엄청난 높이의 폭포에서 떨어지는 물줄기에 비친 무지개, 바위 위에 여유롭게 쉬고 있는 바다표범까지 밀포드 크루즈를 정말 제대로 즐기고 왔습니다. 다음에 또 다시 한번 간다면 주시크루즈를 또 이용할 의향 있습니다.
