Great experience
There are many different thermal experiences you can do in the area and I'm sure all of them are good. This one is owned and operated by the Maori who own the land and have been guiding visitors through their valley for generations. Some of the other local attractions are on land seized by the government for tourism development.

Absolutley loved my experience, our tour guide nickname Wawi was a wealth of knowledge and had an epic way of storytelling! He had a great maturity and realatability to everyone in our group which were from all walks and Countries, highly recommend this guided tour and although we didn't do the performances we could hear the beautiful waiata which would be well worth the visit! A great way to learn the rich history of our Māori people and surroundings

Whakarewarewa Tour
This tour was comprehensive and informative, and such a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the culture of the Maori who lived and live in this special place.
