The Otago Peninsula is home to a wonderful array of wildlife including marine mammals, albatrosses, penguins and other ocean birds. This fascinating cruise will take you on a journey around the spectacular Taiaroa Head - the worlds only mainland nesting place of albatross. Enjoy watching our native furseals play on the rocks and sometimes see New Zealand sea lions basking on the white sandy beaches.

Das Team an Bord war wirklich sehr lieb und kannte sich bestens mit der Materie aus. Souverän gelang es dem Kapitän uns auf dem Wasser in die Nähe von schwimmenden Albatrossen zu bringen und er konnte uns auch viel interessantes zu den unterschiedlichen Tierkolonien entlang der Küste berichten. Würden wir noch einmal einen Ausflug auf der Otago Halbinsel machen, dann mit der Monarch!

Schöne Bootstour für Leute mit Winterjacke

Ansich sehr schöne Bootstour mit schönem Ausblick auf die Klippen und den Leuchtturm. Ein paar Albatros konnte man sehen, jedoch nur wenn man Glück hatte und auf der richtigen Seite des Boots gestanden hatte.

Super Cruise! Albatrosse direkt über dem Boot!!

Wirklich richtig schöne Bootsfahrt mit lustigem nativ englisch sprechendem Kaptain. Die Tour ist ein must have und jeden Dollar wert!!! Wir haben Albatrosse direkt und nah über und neben dem Boot gesehen. Der Kapitän ist nah an die Küste gefahren, so dass wir auch die Brut und die jungen Albatrosse sehen konnten. Zudem haben wir noch Seehunde und Robben gesehen. Viel Informatives über die Tiere und die Natur wurde uns in einer lustig interessanten Cruise erzählt und wir haben sogar dicke Jacken und ein Fernglas geliehen bekommen. Wär sich die teuere Tour im Albatroscenter sparen will, sollte unbedingt diese Bootsgfahrt machen!!!
