Linda said... Had a great day on the Farewell Spit Tour, our guide Anton was full of knowledge and went out of his way to show us all points of interest. We saw a wonderful selection of birds and wildlife. The sand dunes were amazing and we stopped at the historic lighthouse for a walk and refreshments. Farewell Spit has an amazing feeling about it, you almost feel like you are encroaching on the privacy of the wildlife that live there. We also went to Fossil Point, which was great. A lot of the sand had moved and exposed the rocks due to recent flooding so it was very interesting. We also went to Cape Farewell lookout which was also good. Overall a great day, which far exceeded expectations. If you love the outdoors and nature, then you really need to do this trip! Thanks Anton for a great day!
